iTunes store has got a larger database of free applications with regular updates of new applications listing. Most iPhone or iPod users seek iTunes store account to download and install free applications from iTunes store. However, you need to have a credit card in order to sign up and this causes problem for most users. Another problem is that most free applications are available for US users only.

But there is a way to create iTunes account as a US user and without providing credit card details. Follow the below steps :

Create iTunes Store Account without Credit Card

1. Run iTunes on your computer
2. Click on iTunes Store from the left side panel to go to iTunes Store home page
3. Select United States as your country at the bottom of the page
4. Now navigate to Top Free Apps >> Get App >> Create Account
5. Provide any random US address details and click Continue
6. Now you will be taken to payment mode page, choose None as the payment option and click on Finish
7. You are done.

Your iTunes Store account has been created without using any credit card and now you can download unlimited iPod/iPhone applications for free. DO FOLLOW the above steps only. If you create an account directly from the logon box, you will miss the “None” as a payment option and you have to provide credit cards details compulsory to create your account.
