Displaying Yahoo Messenger status icon on Blogger blogs will allow your blog readers to communicate with you whenever you come online. We will be using some pre-configured Yahoo! Messenger code to show your Yahoo Messenger online or offline status on your Blogger blog.

Yahoo Messenger status icon looks like the below screenshots :

Whenever you come online on Yahoo messenger, the status icon will get changed to the I’m Online icon. Whenever someone clicks on the icon, it will direct him to Yahoo Messenger window to start chatting with you.

Displaying Yahoo Messenger Status icon on Blogger Blogs

1. Login to Blogger dashboard
2. Navigate to Layout >> Page Elements
3. Click on Add a Widget >> HTML/JavaScript >> paste the following code

4. Save all the Changes and you are done.
