Download Outlook Connector for Microsoft Office 2010
If you have downloaded any pre release of Microsoft Office 2010 like MS Office 2010 Beta with complete suite such as Excel 2010, Word 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Outlook 2010, OneNote 2010, Access 2010, SharePoint Workspace 2010, Visio 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010, InfoPath 2010 and Publisher 2010, you might have been facing problems with MS Office Outlook 2010. Many people have complained that Outlook 2010 does not work with the shipping version of the Outlook Connector. People fail to connect and synchronize their Hotmail account in Outlook 2010 while it’s working normally with previous versions such as Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.
To fix this problem and in order to use Outlook 2010 to access and manage Windows Live Hotmail or Microsoft Office Live Mail accounts including e-mail messages, contacts and calendars, Microsoft released an updated version of Outlook Connector. Microsoft took this step very fast and released this newer version of Outlook Connector to make things better. Outlook Connector for Microsoft Office 2010 is now available for free download.

Can’t install it, says that Outlook Connector requires Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 even though I have Office 2010 installed.
@ Petkun : There is no official solution for this yet. This is a bug in all beta releases of MS Office 2010, I guess we have to wait for it’s final release
Petkun, this message only appears if you have downloaded the falsely names Office 2010 Beat 1. If you get a legit copy of the Technical Preview it works fine.
It worked well for me thanks guys….
