Easy Way to Find Offline or Blocked Users on Google Talk (Gtalk)
I have already written a post on how to check invisible, offline or blocked Gtalk users. The said post was having several tricks which includes some manual methods and Pidgin application. However, there is an another easy way to find offline or blocked Gtalk users and this was posted by Tubazz, in the comments section here. This is probably the easiest way since you don’t have to go through several steps and it takes just few seconds.
Finding Offline or Blocked Users on Google Talk (Gtalk)
Do note that both offline and blocked users appear offline in your list. Lets say one user with Google Talk ID as “XX0PE” has blocked you and you want to make sure about this. Follow below steps :
- Run Google Talk on your system
- Click on the ID of the Gtalk user to send an instant message
- If the message says “XX0PE is offline“, that means that the user has removed you
- If the message says “XX0PE is offline. You can still send this person messages and they will receive them the next time they are online“, this means that the user has not blocked you and is just offline
- You are done.
This is the most easiest way to know if someone has removed you from his Gtalk friends list, blocked you or just offline.
