Gmail allows everyone to create and use more than one account. You can have as many Gmail accounts as you want and can use all of them for your mailing purposes. But opening two Gmail accounts at once is not possible since Gmail uses cookie system. Once you open and login to a Gmail account, it automatically stores a cookie in your browser. The next time you try to open Gmail, it will track the cookie code and will open the previously opened Gmail account. In simple words, you have to sign out of one Gmail account to login with another. But we can bypass this limitation and open more than one Gmail account at the same time, without having any problem.
Let’s try to open more than one Gmail account with a simple trick. If you are using Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Apple Safari or any other web browser, try opening different Gmail accounts in those browsers separately. Opening different Gmail accounts on separate browsers won’t create any problem as long as you are not using any cookie sharing plugin. This is the easiest method to open two Gmail accounts at once.
If you don’t prefer using different browsers, you can get it done on firefox itself. Simply use a Firefox addon called IE tab.
IE Tab adds a instance of Internet Explorer tab on Firefox. Now you can open Gmail normally on Firefox and the right click to select to open IE tab. Once a IE tab is opened on Firefox, you can login to an another Gmail account there. You will have no problems in opening and using two Gmail accounts at the same time.
