Gmail Notifier is a standalone software from Google to notify you about new mails in your Gmail inbox. After the installation, Gmail notifier will create an icon in your system tray area. Double click on it to provide your Gmail login informations. Select the ‘”Remember Me” option to get notified about every new incoming mails without signing in. This will get started automatically each time you restarts your computer.
Gmail notifier connects to Gmail server in every two minutes to check for new mails. In case of any new mail, it will make a beep noise to tell you that you have got a new mail in your inbox. It also makes Gmail your default mail application for all outgoing mails.
