How to Open Multiple Waves at Once in Single Google Wave Screen

As I said earlier, Google Wave invites are one of the latest buzzes of this time as many people want to try their hands on this communication program from Google. When you access Google Wave, the wave opens in the right hand side pane of the browser. However, it can be expanded to take up and use more screen if you minimize the waves listing pane, navigation pane and contacts pane. While accessing already opened wave, you may click to open up other wave and the newly opened wave will replace the existing wave.

Not all users may find it convenient to work on one wave at a time while they can open multiple waves at once. This is the built-in feature of Google Wave which supports multiple waves at the same time, without using any hack.

Open multiple Google Waves

Opening multiple waves at once

To open multiple waves or more than one wave at a time, press Ctrl key and click on the wave (click on any folder from the left pane such as Inbox, By Me, All, search results etc) that you want to open as the new wave. The newly opened wave will appear at the bottom of the existing wave, before moving further right if more waves are opened at a time.

All waves open and work independently which means that you can close, minimize or maximize any single wave window. [via]
