Windows Vista is a flop OS edition from Microsoft’s house. Windows Vista has a lots of flaws, limitations and was not properly designed for easy user navigation, as far as the earlier and most popular operating system, XP is concerned. However, it was very attractive and the graphics made it look and feel attractive and may be these new implementations made Vista run slower. Here is a quick tweak that you can use to optimize Vista to run faster on your system.

  1. Right click on My Computer icon >> Properties >> Advanced system settings
  2. Vista Optimization

  3. Go to Advance >> Click on Settings
  4. Check Adjust for best performance option under Visual Effects tab
  5. Vista runs faster

  6. Click on Apply >> OK
  7. You are done.

Yep, you are done. This simple optimization tweak will improve Vista performance and your computer will start running faster than earlier.

I am using the vista home premium version. It is very slow in every aspect and thanks for the info. It surely helps.
