iPhone and iPod Touch users can now send free unlimited SMS and group text messages without paying anything for this. If you wanted to send free messages worldwide without paying anything for this to your mobile service provider, you can now do so by installing a third party application on your Apple products, called TextPlus. TextPlus is a free application that connects your iPhone or iPod Touch with any available Wi-Fi network and allows you to send group text messages or SMSes.
TextPlus, developed by GOGII, is a free app for iPhone and iPod Touch to send and receive free text messages (SMS). TextPlus leverages on GOGII’s innovative interactive SMS technology to enable true group conversations in text and seamless interaction between textPlus app users and their friends using standard SMS text messaging.
Using Textplus, users can send free messages by connecting their iPhone or iPod touch to available Wi-Fi network. You can send SMS messages to anyone, they need not to use Apple products or install TextPlus. You can also receive incoming messages using this feature.

Text Plus allow you to send sms to landline phones also?
It’s possible through text2land.com service.
@ Mike : TextPlus uses a web based application to send messages after getting connected to Wi-Fi. So, technically you should be able to send text messages to any number.
This is a really good post. Have you tried free sms world? I’ve put it in the link. I tried it but I don’t know if it looks any good, what do you guys think?
