Show Adsense Ads inside Blogger Posts, Wrapped with Post Text
Google Adsense is the main source of revenue for more than 95% bloggers. If you are using blogger to host your blogs and using Adsense as your ad network, you should blend your ads with your posts to get more attention on ads from your visitors, resulting in more clicks and more revenue. Showing Adsense ads between two blogger posts is not effective, since people tend to overlook that part. If you wrap the ads within the post, it will get noticed and chances are there for a better CTR (click through rate). You can easily customize your blog to show Adsense ads inside your posts, aligned either to left or right.
For a better click through rate, I would recommended you to blend the ads with your blog’s colour combination. Don’t use odd or too deep/light colours. Making your ads highlighted means you are manually trying to keep your income lower. Check out the below screenshot.
Show Adsense Ads inside Blogger posts, wrapped with post text
- Login to your Blogger Dashboard.
- Navigate to Layout >> Edit HTML
- Expand widget templates by checking the box
- Search for <data:post.body> inside your template. Add one of the following codes just above it.
- Make sure to replace YOUR ADSENSE CODE with your actual Adsense ad code.
- Save all the changes you have made.
- You are done.
To show your Ads aligned to left
<div style='float:left; margin-right:5px;'>
YOUR ADSENSE CODE
</div>
To show your Ads aligned to right
<div style='float:right; margin-left:5px;'>
YOUR ADSENSE CODE
</div>
Remember to convert your Adsense code here before adding that to the above code. Blogger HTML does not support Adsense ad characters, hence you need to convert it.
Now all your blog posts should appear with Adsense ads wrapped around it’s texts. The best ad format for this location would be 336*280 or 300*250 or you can play with the ad formats until you notice a better result.

I have a question.What if I want to show ads like this on individual posts? like if i want for only 2 posts out of 5 on my front page?
I hope to hear soon.
Thanks
why this isnt working for me? im using classic template on my blog.
@ Angelina : You can refer to show ads on selected posts on Blogger homepage.
@ Ofw Blogger : I have checked your blog and it should work there. Can you explain what’s the exact problem?
This blog is a WordPress blog, it’s not a Blogger blog.
Keep more of this post coming. You’ve just solved my problem on placing adsense code
this is very good for me its is nice working on left or right side thanks
Ya thanks man been looking around to do this because my adsense clicks have dropped so much since i changed the adsense on my template. Here my blog i’m going to use this and change the adsense up hopefully my CTR goes back to 4% instead of 1.92%
Thanks man, just what I was looking for.

TIA.
@ Jeist : Follow the HTML code format mentioned in the post.
thanks it is now working! great help!
Hi,
Thank you very much for a wonderful tutorial on embedding adsense ads inside blog posts. I have a problem though: if a visitor gets more than 3 posts on the same page (by clicking on a label associated with more than 3 posts, for instance), all the posts below the 3rd have a big empty spot where the adsense ad was supposed to be. Is there any way to get rid of this space? If not, is there any way to tell blogger never to load more than 3 posts into a page at any time?
Thank you.
thanks man i know you are wonderful for your help
I have to data:post.body where i should put the code i am using Community template in my Blog.

Is there any way I can display more than 3 adsense units within posts on my homepage? I have 7 pages/posts showing on my homepage only the first three displays adsense.. I know blogger allows only 3 units per page, but ist there any way? a hack or something.. thanks..
@ Murkcore : Yes, there are ways to display more than 3 ads (actually as many Adsense ads as you want) on a single page using iframe, but this is against Adsense TOS. Adsense does not allow users to place more than 8 ad slots ( 3 text links + 3 ad boxes + 2 search units), and if you don’t follow their guidelines, they will ban your account.
thanks man i will try this..
You save me a lot of time thanks. Just to note that in step 4 you have to search for with slash for XHTML
Thanks again
