Follow this step-by-step tutorial to hack Windows Media Player 11 validation problems. If you have already installed Windows Media Player 11 on your system, skip to Step-2.
- Run Windows Media Player. Navigate to Tools >> Options >> Check for updates once a day >> Click on Apply >> Press OK
- Go to Start >> Search. Check “All Files and Folders” option and search for LegitLibM.dll file.
- Once you find the file, rename it to legitlib.dll and exit.
- Start Windows Media Player 11 and click on Validate. It will show you a message as ‘Unable to Validate‘ but you proceed to the next step by clicking Next and edit the settings according to your preferences and Windows Media Player 11 will start working.
- You are done.
After sometime you will see a new Windows Media Player update availability notification. Click on it to install Windows Media Player 11 on your system. Once the installation gets finished, reboot your system.
Alternatively you can directly navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player folder to locate it manually.
