Top Authors Widget For Blogger / Blogspot

Blogger platform allows blog owners to have more than one author. You can add unlimited authors to your blog and all of them can contribute to your blog with their posts. But since there is no default top authors widgets available on Blogger like WordPress, you can’t show the list of top authors. But here is the plugin to show the list of all authors on your blog with the number of posts they have made. This widget takes last 5000 posts into calculation and shows the list accordingly. How To Add Top Authors Widget To Blogger / Blogspot Blogs

1. Click on the below “Add Top Authors Widget to Blog” button.
2. It will pop up a page where you can customize your settings.
3. Give your widget any title. “Top Authors” is the default one and fit’s better.
4. Write your blogger blog’s address. Remember not to write http:// in the beginning or give a trailing slash ( / ) at the end.
5. Choose the number of top authors you want to display.
6. Click on Customize and then Add to my blog.
7. Add the widget to your preferred blog and you are done.

That’s it. Now your blogger/blogspot will start showing all your top author’s name and the number of posts they have made in the sidebar. This can also be treated as the Top Poster widget for Blogspot blogs, since it deals with the authors and number of posts under their account.
