What To Do If Someone Steals Your Blog Post Contents
There are people who steal post contents from other blogs and post as their own. I really don’t understand the reason behind this. Because in this way, they are not only inviting problems, but also shutting their ways to success. In most cases, you will find them new into blogging. And more interesting thing is that, they copy posts from your blog directly, lol, if I had to copy a post, I would rather choose their RSS feed to copy the contents. But I won’t do that ever, only for one single reason, I want to have original contents.

What to do when you are a victim! Well to be honest, if someone is using only a paragraph of your post as quote and gives a link back to your site, you can’t do much about this. But if someone stole your whole post without your permission, you can ruin his blog. But remember, do not ever misuse your powers, be a man, and be gentle.
At first I would suggest you to drop a mail to that blogger. Be polite and write something like this:
Hello,
I am Bapun from SolidBlogger. I found that you are using my contents in your blog without my permissions. I spend many hours writing a post and those posts are meant to be in my blog only. So, kindly take down those posts within next 2 days.
Thanks
Admin
Now wait for 7 days. Yup, I know that you mentioned 2 days in your mail. But give him some time. In general, people remove your contents after getting a mail from the original blogger. Check out his blog after 7 days. If the content is removed, you are successful with your mission. But now, if the content is still there and you don’t even receive an reply mail from that blogger, it’s time to drop the second and last mail. This time you can go a bit rude. Look at the style of writing. To provide an accurate example, I am naming that copycat blogger “JOHN MATHEW” and his blog “www.john-at-blogging.com”.
JOHN MATHEW

And this should be your final mail. Expect a reply from that blogger within 2 days. But again I would recommend you to wait for 7 days. Check back his blog after seven days and look for your contents. Most copycat bloggers do not want to get into problems, so they would like to remove your contents. But, if they do not respond or remove your contents even after getting your second e-mail, it’s time to take appropriate actions. You can not only remove his entire blog from search engines, but also you can get his adsense program ID banned.
Steps to be taken:
Google Spam Report : As all of us know that Google is the daddy of all search engines. Most people use this service to do search and hence webmasters depend a lot on Google to get traffic. So, it would be a best idea to kick the webmaster from the search engine results who is copying your contents and does not even bother to reply you. Fill up the required boxes and send it to the Google. Within a couple of days (7-20), Google will remove all the indexed pages of that site, not only yours. And in future Google will not index any of it’s pages. And without traffic, that blog will have a 0 value.
Yahoo! Spam Report : After Google Yahoo! is the second leading search engine. So, report to Yahoo! also. They treat these things very seriously. But you must be a Yahoo! user to report.
Report to Adsense Team : Now here comes the twist. The main reason for people to make blogs is money. And 90% bloggers depend on Google Adsense. It’s not only the highest paying ad network but also the finest one. So, kicking him out of Google Adsense will break all his dreams. Therefore, I suggest you not to follow this step. Because he will get a ban from Google Adsense and can’t ever use Adsense in any of his sites. And in this way all his hopes will get ruined. But if it’s necessery, you can follow this step.
Report to Blogger : Now if this is a blogspot blog, you can report his blog and get that removed. Blogspot allows people to host blogs for free on it’s server. And hence, you have to follow it’s TOS line by line. Now if you don’t, a ban will follow you. Go to his flag, and on navar flag the blog. If it’s using a custom navbar and there are no navbar, then you can follow this link to report spam blogspot blogs.
Report to Wordpress : Another leading free blogs provider is Wordpress. If that person is using Wordpress to host his blogs, report Wordpress. And they will delete his blog. I am sure that he is get taken aback when he finds his blog deleted.
Report to SPLOGSPOT : This is a spam blog directory. Few search engines follow this site to update their spam sites database. So, reporting to splogspot will get his site removed from as many search engines as possible.
The above steps are vital ones. They MUST be done. And in addition, you can report that site to as many search engines as possible. Copying someone’s posts are not cool and this should be learned by everyone. Else, he does not deserve a space among the bloggers.

Your tips sound good, but do not match with the fact that you’ve taken DigitalStatement from blog oh blog and all you did was changing the footer because you had some php problems. That does not look like a pro to me.
sorry, not meaning to attack you, but just speak what i think.
@ James : Thanks for your appreciation. And mate, I have not taken this theme from blog o blog, in stead I downloaded it from the original author’s site. I have also given proper linkback to that site in the footer area. Now there is no meaning left for giving a link to blog o blog. I guess, now it sounds like a pro to you.
Really nice post… may help in future..
